VACDA has the following programs under education:

COTTAGE TO COTTAGE AND PUBLIC FORA (CPF)

here we educate typical rural communities about the benefit of enrolling their children into school. This is done by visiting cottage to cottage, house to house, village to village education to promote especially girl child education.

New School Package (NSP)

VACDA-GHANA construct new classroom block for schools to provide and promote free basic education in remote and disadvantage villages. Here because many schools in villages need proper school block. VACDA-GHANA select most needy community to work with. Again, anytime there is a sign of rain, classes have to be stopped. This situation affects teaching and learning. These will help many schools in our target population area that lack lavatories thereby making it a big problem for teachers and children as well as most of the communities whenever they want to go to places of convenience (toilet). They usually visit the nearby bushes which endanger them to snake bites.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES FOR PUPILS (SSP)

Equipping children to have the necessary tool to be regular and effective in school is a priority of VACDA –GHANA.  We therefore provide basic materials such as: exercise books, text books, pens, pencils, school uniforms, chalk etc. to enable the children go to school well equipped and regular at school always to lessen the financial problem of their parents. These give every child the opportunity for education.

CAPACITY BUILDING WORKSHOPS FOR UNTRAINED TEACHERS (CBWUT)

As many teachers in rural Ghana are untrained in both public and private schools need capacity building workshops to equipped them have the new teaching and learning skills to impact into the children. VACDA-GHANA with it program CBWUT help to organized workshops for untrained teachers in rural Ghana. This is to help improve the quality of teaching and learning rural schools in Ghana.
